About

The Farmhouse at Apple Hill

Welcome to The Farmhouse at Apple Hill™️!

We’re Brooke and Jake, along with our two kids, Ivory and Asher. In early 2023, we moved from the Bay Area to Camino to fulfill our dream of raising our family in nature, surrounded by horses and the peacefulness of the countryside. We were fortunate enough to purchase the historic “Hartwick House,” one of Eldorado County’s earliest settlements, dating back to 1887.

Our farm is home to some of the original apple, chestnut, and pear trees planted over a century ago. While preserving this rich agricultural history, we've also created a vibrant flower farm that grows stunning blooms like Peonies, David Austin Roses, Hydrangeas, Zinnias, and Dahlias.

We also operate a family-owned horse boarding facility. With Jake’s background on a horse ranch and Brooke’s local ties to Eldorado County, our love for horses runs deep. Our guests enjoy state-of-the-art equestrian amenities, including a year-round indoor arena, outdoor arena, and spacious stalls with paddocks. Whether you’re boarding a horse or just soaking in the natural beauty, our ranch offers a welcoming atmosphere for all.

The Farmhouse at Apple Hill™️ is more than just a farm—it’s also a venue for weddings, special events, and retreats. We offer cozy accommodations on Airbnb with two guest homes that provide a tranquil escape for visitors. Guests can enjoy seasonal activities like apple picking or simply relax and take in the stunning views of our historic property.

We can’t wait to share this special place with you—whether you’re boarding a horse, attending an event, or just visiting to unwind and explore. We look forward to welcoming you to The Farmhouse at Apple Hill™️.
